2. Estimates & Repair Authorization

- Some vehicle issues cannot be fully diagnosed until additional inspection or disassembly is performed.

- Additional work discovered during repairs will be communicated for approval before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.
3. Pricing
- Prices quoted are estimates unless otherwise stated.
- Final invoices may vary if additional parts, labour, or repairs become necessary after diagnosis.
- Applicable taxes will be added as required under Ontario law.
- Promotional pricing or discounts cannot be combined unless specifically stated.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the authorized work unless other arrangements have been agreed to in writing.
We reserve the right to:
- retain possession of a vehicle until payment has been received where permitted by applicable law,
- charge applicable fees for returned or declined payments.
Accepted payment methods may include cash, debit, credit cards, or other payment methods available at our location.
5. Parts
Depending on the repair, we may use:
- Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts,
- high-quality aftermarket parts,
- remanufactured parts when appropriate.
If a customer requests a specific type of part, availability and pricing may differ.
Any replaced parts become the property of Steel City Auto Care unless the customer requests their return before the repair is completed, where applicable.
6. Warranty
Steel City Auto Care stands behind the quality of its workmanship.
Warranty coverage may vary depending on:
- the type of repair,
- the parts installed,
- manufacturer warranty terms.
Warranty does not apply to failures resulting from:
- accidents,
- misuse,
- neglect,
- unauthorized modifications,
- damage unrelated to the original repair.
Customers should contact us promptly if they experience concerns following a repair.
7. Vehicle Pickup & Storage
Customers are encouraged to collect their vehicle promptly after being notified that repairs are complete.
Vehicles left for an extended period after completion may become subject to storage charges where permitted by applicable law, provided reasonable notice has been given.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- provide accurate vehicle information,
- disclose known vehicle issues when possible,
- remove valuables from the vehicle before service.
Steel City Auto Care is not responsible for loss of personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
